YOUNG ACHIEVERS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION (PTO) AGREEMENT
This agreement is entered into between Young Achievers Christian Academy and the Parent/Guardian listed below for participation in the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
PURPOSE OF THE PTO
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists to support the mission of Young Achievers Christian Academy by encouraging family involvement, strengthening communication between home and school, supporting teachers and staff, and assisting with school events, fundraising, and student activities.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. MEMBERSHIP
All parents and guardians of enrolled students are encouraged to participate in the PTO. Membership supports collaboration between families, faculty, and administration for the benefit of students and the school community.
2. EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS
PTO members agree to:
Support the Christian mission and values of Young Achievers Christian Academy
Conduct themselves respectfully and professionally at all school and PTO events
Encourage positive communication between parents, teachers, staff, and administration
Volunteer as available to support PTO-sponsored activities and events
Follow all school policies and procedures outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook
3. MEETINGS
PTO meetings will be held throughout the school year at dates and times communicated by the school or PTO leadership. Members are encouraged to attend regularly and participate in discussions and planning activities.
4. VOLUNTEERING
Parents/guardians volunteering on campus or during school events may be required to:
Sign in through the school office
Follow campus safety procedures
Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters
Demonstrate appropriate Christian conduct and language
The school reserves the right to limit or revoke volunteer privileges if expectations are not followed.
5. FUNDRAISING
All PTO fundraising activities must receive prior approval from school administration. Funds raised through PTO efforts shall be used to support school programs, student activities, teacher appreciation, classroom needs, and other approved initiatives benefiting the school community.
6. COMMUNICATION
Members agree to maintain respectful and constructive communication at all times, including during meetings, on social media, and in electronic communications related to the school or PTO.
7. CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Any concerns or disagreements involving PTO matters should be addressed respectfully and through appropriate school communication channels. Disruptive behavior, gossip, harassment, or conduct inconsistent with the school’s mission may result in removal from PTO participation.
8. POLICY CHANGES
Young Achievers Christian Academy reserves the right to update or modify PTO policies, procedures, and expectations as needed during the school year.
9. GOVERNING PRINCIPLES
The PTO will operate in support of the mission, leadership, and policies of Young Achievers Christian Academy and in accordance with applicable Oklahoma laws and school guidelines.
